Mommy Who?

So in just about every picture out there, it is either Korben by himself or Korben with Daddy and/or other friends and family members because Mommy is always the picture taker. So when Grammy, Grandpa, and Uncle Jamey were in town for Easter, they came to Little Gym class with us and THEY took some pics and were nice enough to make sure I got to be in some! So here is some proof that Korben's Mommy really does exist. I write this not to be vain, but simply to have proof for my son one day that I was actually there with him during his childhood! :~)

A Day at the Movies!

This past Wednesday, we actually attempted to take Korben to see a movie! We thought it would be fun to take him to see Monsters vs Aliens in 3D. Were we crazy for thinking that a 14 month old (well, almost 14 month old) would actually sit through an entire movie?? Turns out, YES we were! Korben was really interested for a little while, but then he got restless. Luckily, we were the only ones in the theater so we didn't have to leave and Korben was able to roam around when he wanted and sit and watch the movie when he wanted. It worked out really great! While it was still a really fun day and I'm glad we went, we probably won't try the movie thing again any time soon... unless maybe it's a cheap dollar show!

Easter Fun!

We had a fantastic Easter this year! Grammy, Grandpa, and Uncle Jamey all came in from Abilene to celebrate with us this weekend and we had so much fun with them. We all went to church then Grammy and Grandpa made a delicious Easter lunch and after that we colored Easter eggs and then went hunting for them! I should warn you before you see the pictures... Korben got chocolate ALL over his shirt and we didn't have another polo that matched his pants SO we went shirtless for the egg hunt... What are you gonna do??? :~) I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter celebrating the resurrection of Jesus and enjoyed the much needed rain this morning!
